MTS IFRS net profit dives 36.4% to 10.9 bln rbl in Apr–Jun
MOSCOW, Aug 18 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian mobile operator MTS decreased 36.4% on the year to 10.9 billion rubles in April–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said on Thursday in a statement.
Revenue rose 0.7% to 127.8 billion rubles “driven primarily by growth in core connectivity services as well as at fintech and other businesses, which offset a decline in sales of handsets and accessories.”
Adjusted operating income before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) decreased 9.2% to 51.8 billion rubles.
The operating profit fell 26.4% to 22.3 billion rubles.
The net debt widened 20.2% to 419 billion rubles.
